HOW DO WE GET SOME GOODIES?
1. Visit us at 805 Front Rd (parking is on Bouffard). We keep our freezer stocked with staples like bagels, tortillas, naan, muffins, and brownies. You'll also get to pick from all the special treats in our display case, like cupcakes, donuts, tarts & more.
2. Place an order online, and pick it up in store (give us a few days to make everything and we'll email you when it's ready).
3. Visit one of our local retail partners across Windsor-Essex County.
WHEN WILL MY PICKUP ORDER BE READY?
After placing an order, please allow 2-4 days for us to prepare your order. We will email you when your order is ready for pickup. Please keep an eye on your junk email folder so you don't miss it.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?
All our products are 100% gluten-free, grain-free (no wheat, corn, rice, oats, etc), dairy-free (no milk, cream, butter, cheese, etc.), refined sugar-free (no white/brown/icing sugar, corn syrup, rice syrup, etc.), processed oil free (no canola, peanut, sunflower, safflower, vegetable oil, etc.), peanut, cashew, & soy-free and no preservatives or artificial colours.
Instead of wheat flour we use nut based flours and various resistant starches (almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour, tapioca, arrowroot flour, etc.). Instead of processed sugars we use organic pure maple syrup, organic raw honey, organic dates/fruit and organic coconut sugar. Instead of dairy and refined oils, we use coconut cream, made-from-scratch nut mylks and nut butters, organic virgin coconut oil and organic extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil. Instead of artificial colours, we use foods like beets, purple sweet potato, turmeric and spirulina.
We use organic, local ingredients whenever possible. Everything is made from scratch in house, to make sure it is the best - even our chocolate, our sprinkles, and our ice cream is made in house!
DO YOU HAVE PALEO, KETO, VEGAN, NUT-FREE, AIP OPTIONS?
All of our products are considered Paleo.
We also have many egg-free, vegetarian & vegan products (over 75% of our products are vegan!) and a few nut-free, school-safe and AIP items. We are 100% peanut free & cashew free. But since we use lots of other nuts in our bakery, even our nut-free items cannot be guaranteed 100% safe if you have a severe allergy to nuts other than peanuts or cashews.
Since we use natural sweeteners like honey & syrup, and gut-healthy resistant starches like tapioca & cassava, our products are not considered keto. But we now carry keto/sugar-free products from our friends at Paleo Palate Cafe! Choose from keto cupcakes, muffins, cookies & more. Just head to our online store, and filter by "keto" to see all your options.
ARE YOU 100% GLUTEN-FREE (CELIAC-SAFE)?
Yes, our bakery, equipment & products are completely gluten free.
COUPONS, DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS
Only one promotion/coupon code can be applied at a time to an order. Please pick your favourite deal and save the other(s) for another order within their expiry date. All coupons will expire on Dec 31 of the calendar year that they are handed out. In-store BOGO (or similar) deals are on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last. No rain checks.
Gift cards can be applied to in-store purchases only. Sorry! They do not work in our online store - we've even tried switching website providers to solve this, but they still will not integrate. If you would like to use your gift card for a pre-order, please call the store to place your order and you can pay with your gift card at pickup, however online promotions cannot be applied.
HANDLING & STORAGE
Because of our ingredients and lack of preservatives, our products should be refrigerated. If you're saving them for longer than 2-3 days, they should be frozen to maintain freshness. Bagels, pretzels & hamburger buns do best if they are frozen the day they are baked and reheated just prior to eating.
Sorry, we are not shipping our products at this time. We will be testing Ontario-wide shipping in the near future. Please reach out if you'd like to be part of our shipping trials.
If you wish to change or cancel your order, please call us or email us by replying to your confirmation email so we have your order number. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, if it's a last minute cancellation, and we have started making your order, (especially with custom work & cakes with a personal message) a refund will not be issued.
All sales that have left the store are considered final. Purchased food cannot be returned. However, if there is an issue with your order, or a certain product you have purchased, please let us know and we will determine the appropriate actions on a case by case basis.
PICK UP NO SHOWS
Refunds will not be issued for pick up no shows. If an order is not picked up on the date agreed upon, we will attempt to reach you to organize a new pickup date/time - we understand that sometimes life happens and you can't make it or you simply forget. Please note, we may decide to freeze your order in the meantime, to maintain product freshness. If we are unable to reach you, and your order is not picked up within 2 weeks, your order will be disposed of.
