🍯 How To Make Whipped Honey (1-Ingredient & 2-Ingredient recipes)

Creamed honey, spun honey, and whipped honey, are all names for the same thing: crystallized honey that has been whipped until fluffy.


Don’t throw out your honey when it has crystallized! Give it a second life & stretch your dollar  by whipping it & turning it into the creamiest DIY whipped honey.


It sounds so fancy but all we do is tip it into a mixing bowl (use at least 1 cup honey for best results) and whip it for about 20 minutes on medium/high until it turns thick & fluffy, opaque/white, and has a smooth spreadable consistency.


At this point, transfer to a jar, seal and store in your pantry. In warmer areas you can store in your fridge to slow separation. It will eventually separate but is easily whipped back into creamed honey.




OR MAKE A FLAVOURED WHIPPED HONEY:


🎃🍁🍂Pumpkin Pie Spice Whipped Honey:

-1 cup whipped honey

-Add 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice* and whip until incorporated




🍫Chocolate Whipped Honey:

-1 cup whipped honey

-Add 2 tbsp cocao powder and whip until incorporated.




HOW TO USE YOUR NEW WHIPPED HONEY:

-🍞spread on toast or crackers

-🍎a dip for fruit

-🍪drizzled on cookies, marshmallows, graham crackers

-☕️spoon into coffee, tea, hot cocao or warm milk

-🎁put in cute jars and gift to your friends & family too!!
