🍪🍫 Day 23 of Healthy Summer Treats | Edible Protein Cookie Dough & Choc-Dipped Bites
Cookie Dough: 1 1/2 cups almond flour 1/2 cup unflavoured protein powder (or more almond flour) 1/4 cup liquid sweetener of choice (I used half liquid allulose, half maple syrup) 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 cup chopped chocolate/chocolate chips of choice (I used dark allulose chips) ► Combine, scoop, eat!! 🍇🧪Day 16 of Healthy Summer Treats: TikTok Grapes with a Twist #SummerOnShorts
Today we’re making the viral frozen sour patch grapes from TikTok, but with a better-for-you twist!! After adding your lime juice, instead of sugar or Jello mix, we sprinkled our green grapes with lemonade electrolyte powder, then freeze & enjoy!! Super refreshing & perfect for replacing electrolytes on hot summer days. These are SO UNDER-RATED, OMG! Don’t make these unless you’re prepared to eat the entire batch. 😂😅 Our homemade almond flour graham crackers are perfectly sweet & crunchy, paired with a snappy allulose-sweetened vegan dark chocolate layer, and a marshmallowy layer with added protein - these could be on repeat all summer long. 🍫✨ TIP: try to mix the Coco Whip as little as possible (just enough to get the protein powder mixed in) or it can deflate and get really runny. Day 12 of Healthy Summer Treats: Mandarin Orange Sorbet 🍊| #SummerOnShorts
Turn frozen mandarin oranges into a super delicious & refreshing summer treat!! You make this 1-ingredient orange ice cream/sorbet in a blender or a food processor. Simply peel and separate your mandarin range segments and freeze on a tray or cutting board. Then blend/process until smooth. These yummy ice cream sandwiches are easily customizable to suit your dietary needs (Swap out the sweetener make it vegan, RSF, low-carb, etc - I’m using half maple syrup, half liquid allulose here).
