Healthier Cookie Dough Bark

This no-bake chocolate cookie dough bark is incredibly easy to make and seriously satisfying. Creamy, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet, it hits all the right notes for an afternoon energy boost — made with wholesome ingredients and naturally sweetened.
For a higher-protein version, simply swap out ½ cup almond flour for your favourite protein powder, and you’re go to go!
Base
* 1 cup almond or oat flour
* ½ cup (128g) natural almond or peanut butter
* 40mL (40g) maple syrup or sugar-free syrup, if desired
* 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
* ½ tsp vanilla
* Pinch of sea salt
Topping
* ½ cup (87g) df/v dark chocolate chips (sugar-free if desired)
* 1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
* flakey sea salt
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix all base layer ingredients until smooth and fully combined
2. Press into thin layer on a parchment lined tray
3. Place in the freezer while you prepare the topping
4. Melt the chocolate chips and almond butter together in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring between each, or use a double boiler
5. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the base layer
6. Sprinkle with flakey sea salt, then chill for 1-2 hours, until fully set
7. Slice or break into pieces & enjoy!
