Single bite ice cream nuggets, dipped in chocolaty coating - these are so fun & perfect for a summer treat.
Here we're using our no-churn ice cream recipe to make some copycat Nestle Dibs (chocolate dipped ice cream bites). Here's how to make these dairy-free/vegan hazelnut swirl dupes:
Ice Cream Ingredients:
► 2 cans full fat coconut milk, chilled overnight
► 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (we used our homemade recipe with cane sugar)
► 1 tbsp vanilla
► 1/2 tsp salt (helps balance flavour but also freezing texture)
► 1/2 cup hazelnut spread, warmed in microwave until pourable (you can use Nutella if you're ok with dairy, but I found an organic vegan hazelnut spread at our local grocery store or make our DIY nutella)
Chocolate:
► 1 cup chocolate chips of your choice
► 1 tbsp coconut oil
STEPS:
1. Add base ingredients in bowl, and whip until smooth and fluffy, then fold in warm hazelnut spread
2. Spread into ice cube trays or small silicon molds and freeze 6 hours or overnight.
3. Pop them out of the molds, dip in melted choc, and enjoy!!
4. Store any leftovers in airtight container in the freezer.
