🥥🍓🫐🥝 Day 18 of Healthy Summer Treats | Coconut Water Fruit Popsicles #SummerOnShorts
These are so great for summer because: ⭐️ They freeze SUPER solid, and melt slow (so less of a drippy mess for kids), ⭐️⭐️ They’re more refreshing than sweet, full of electrolytes, and have no added sugars/sweeteners. We’re really just using coconut water to “glue” fruit together frozen. You’ll Need: ► Fresh or frozen fruit (you can use one kind, or go crazy with different fruits/colour combos. After adding your lime juice, instead of sugar or Jello mix, we sprinkled our green grapes with lemonade electrolyte powder, then freeze & enjoy!! Super refreshing & perfect for replacing electrolytes on hot summer days. NOTE: I found the grapes were still a bit wet/sticky after freezing so you could totally add ANOTHER coat of electrolytes after freezing for an extra boost, b

Day 3 of Healthy Summer Treats: 🍉Watermelon Shaved Ice #SummerOnShorts
This one ingredient shave ice hack seemed so simple I almost didn’t want to include it in our healthy summer treat series BUT our watermelon’s texture was sub-par (and a bit mealy), so my kids did NOT want to eat it. And freezing it, and shaving it with a microplane, totally transformed and saved this melon. Don’t have a microplane? Or even if you do… I also tested this with my grater setting in our food processor and it worked like a charm, and was definitely a time saver to

🤎❤️🤍 Layered Choc Strawberry Chia Pudding Without the Wait 🤎❤️🤍
With the warm spring weather here, I find myself leaning away from my cooked keto porridge I ate on repeat all winter and feeling more like a chia pudding. One of my favourites I’ve made today with a couple of tricks, you can get rid of that 3+ hour wait you normally need for a chia pudding to thicken and you can make it for breakfast that day. This is going to be a layered chocolate vanilla chia pudding that I’m adding some strawberries too, but you can also mix it up and d

Nuts & Seeds Cookies
Let’s try another recipe that has been all over my YouTube fyp recently, stating “I don't eat sugar! Healthy cookies without flour or sugar! Energy dessert recipe!” Looking at the ingredients, they are basically a bunch of mixed nuts & seeds held together with a bit of honey. And some are dipped in dark chocolate. So what’s not to like about that? (Unless you don’t eat honey - then try this with your favourite sticky sweetener instead). After trying them out, I have to say, t
