Chocolate Orange Bark 🍊🍫


It's chocolate orange season!! So let's make a refreshing healthier version that's dairy-free & vegan! And skip the Terry’s choclate orange.


2-INGREDIENT OPTION

-1 cup dark chocolate of choice, dairy-free/vegan or sugar-free if desired

-2-3 mandarin oranges, peeled & separated into segments


5-INGREDIENT OPTION (CHOC from SCRATCH)

-1/2 cup cocao butter (or sub coconut oil, but it will add a coconut flavour)

-1/2 cup cocao powder

-2-3 tbsp maple syrup (or sub honey or your fav sugar-free liquid sweetener)

-pinch of sea salt

-2-3 mandarin oranges, peeled & separated into segments


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine and melt chocolate ingredients in a microwave safe bowl in 30-second increments or over a double boiler. If you use chocolate chips and find it very thick, you can add 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter to thin it out and make it easier to work with. (Chocolate chips have added ingredients to help them keep their shape when baking.)

2. Add your  orange segments mix in well

3. Spread on parchment lined tray

4. Chill until set, then break/cut into pieces and enjoy!!
