Veganuary - Tasty Tofu
Anyone trying new plant-based meals for Veganuary? I tried Nisha’s (Rainbow Plant Life) tofu technique the other night for dinner and it was soooooo good!! I didn’t have all the ingredients to make her shawarma bowl (I have to remake it with all the components!!), so I served it with yellow pea protein pasta, some edamame, and Siete brand taco spice. You can find her video/recipe here: https://youtu.be/qEu2VHpTt58?si=ptL0JjnCvRtb8evs But here's a quick jist: She calls for sup

Banana Donut Holes 🍌
Have one extra banana kicking around? Make some banana almond flour donut holes! This recipe was adapted from the viral 2 ingredient dough recipes using a banana and self-rising flour. But since the gluten-free world does not have self-rising flour (especially when using almond flour) we’ve added a few extra ingredients to make this work well. Ingredients 1¼ cups almond flour 1 tsp psyllium husk powder 1¼ tsp baking powder ½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp sea salt 1 medium ripe banana, m

2-Ingredient Chocolate Yogurt Mousse
This recipe kept popping up on my feed, and I was skeptical (I've fallen victim to so many bad 2 or 3-ingredient recipes...have you?) but I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Tru Fru Dupe | Blueberry-stuffed-raspberries
Forget buying the expensive trendy chocolate dipped fruit at the store. You can easily make your own at home and totally customize what fruits you use too! Here we used raspberries stuffed with blueberries (like a turducken but with fruit!), but you could easily do strawberries, or frozen pineapple or mango... How to: -Stuff large raspberries with wild blueberries (we used fresh raspberries and frozen wild blueberries) -Then pop in the freeze while you melt your white chocola

Healthy 3-Ingredient Rice Crispy Squares
With maple syrup and almond butter, I thought these would be perfect for my kid with braces (instead of sticky marshmallows) & bonus you get to avoid over processed ingredients like corn syrup, they come together super quick, and are endlessly customizable (sub your fav cereal, a diff nut/seed butter or sticky sweetener of choice!!). They have a similar texture but without the sticky pull. I was quite impressed, though I felt like they took much longer than 30 minutes to set

Miraculous 1-Ingredient CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
I keep seeing these 1 or 2 ingredient chocolate recipes, and sometimes they fail, and sometimes they look delicious - It makes me think, do they really work? And are they any good? So we’re finally giving it a try. Here’s how we’re doing it: Ingredients: 150g dark choc (you want good tasting, high cocao content, good quality choc since this is the only flavour component - I used 70% allulose-sweetened-dark chocolate) 1/2c boiling water (not cold, as some recipe say - we want

Chickpea Bark - Sweet Salty & Crunchy!
Sometimes unexpected combos work so beautifully together: If you have some extra chickpeas kicking around, give this a try! Adding crunchy roasted chickpeas creates an amazing sweet salty & crunchy combo. -Lightly spray/coat some drained chickpeas with oil, then roast (we did air fryer at 390F for 20 minutes and they were perfect!). -Then let cool, and add to melted chocolate with a good ol' pinch of flakey sea salt. -Chill until set, then break into pieces and enjoy!! Drink lemon water? Try this! 💦🍋
Use the WHOLE lemon for added limonene!! 💦🍋 Lots of people already drink lemon water for digestion, etc, but this is next level. But using the whole lemon, you get the added benefits of limonene (an essential oil found in the peel) that has been shown in studies to have an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-stress effect, been shown to help reduce mood disorders, and may help reduce triglycerides and lower blood sugar levels. 🩺 The combo of EVOO & lemon is known to h

Blueberry Hack 🫐😉 take all the sweet ones! (or take the sour-lower-sugar ones if thats your jam)
Try this fun hack if you want to secretly steal all the sweetest berries (or if your kids will only eat the super sweet ones! 🫐😬), …or if you’re keto/low-carb/diabetic and want to only eat the sour ones. 🙌🏻👍🏻 It actually works! But why? 🤔 Because the sweeter ones are more dense and sink to the bottom. Watch the video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/x7ptTlt1qAI

Frozen snickers bites 🍫🍌🥜
Frozen snickers bites 🍫🍌🥜 Having fun making random frozen treats with bananas. They act like ice cream when frozen (aka “nice cream”) and pair so well with snickers flavours: caramel, PB & choc!! Feel free to sub your fav nut/seed butter if you don’t do peanuts. 🍌slice up a ripe banana 🍯top with a piece of medjool date for your “caramel” layer 🥜top with peanut butter, and peanuts 🥶freeze 🍫dip in melted chocolate & enjoy!
