Most of which we also share on our YouTube Channel, as well as our second instagram account, & TikTok. Black Forest Brownie Cake 🍒🤍🍫
The original recipe for this chocolate cherry brownie cake is by Radhi Devlukia-Shetty in her cookbook: “JoyFULL” (but we made a few tweaks based on ingredient availability at a friend’s house). I’m totally loving the savoury recipes in Radhi’s book, and also make her moon milk recipes almost every night before bed. So I thought it would be fun to try her brownie cake recipe - It’s gluten free, egg free, dairy free, refined sugar free & vegan. And instead of stacking & “icing

Healthy Chocolate Pistachio Tart (keto, gluten free, vegan)
A revamped version of a pistachio tart with green pistachio cream filling, and decadent chocolate ganache, and crushed pistachios and freeze dried raspberry pieces for a colour & flavour pop! BUT it’s also gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, vegan, egg-free, refined sugar free, low sugar & low carb if you make it with sf sweetener and sf chocolate like we did (or sub YOUR fav sweetener & chocolate). This recipe makes a 9” tart, but you can also make several smaller tarts if

Rainbow Peanut Noodles
But family-style!! My daughter wanted to make rainbow peanut noodles for my birthday dinner, based on a grab-n go noodle bowl we had picked up at Boon Bakery in Owen Sound this past summer. And I think we did a good job recreating it. This is definitely on our “make more often” list now. :) Protein: ► Sliced BBQ or rotisserie chicken (or sub for tofu) Salad: ► vermicelli rice noodles ► frozen edamame beans, boiled ► cucumber, julienned* we used a julienne peeler ► carrot, jul

Lemon Blueberry Marshmallow Ice Cream aka “Moonbeam" Ice Cream - Dairy-Free & Refined Sugar Free
My daughter kept asking to make the “Moonbeam Ice Cream”, from the Benson Boon song “Mystical Magical”, and this week she had to get 4 teeth removed so it was a great time to make her a frozen treat. 🍋🫐🤍 Here’s our dairy-free refined-sugar-free version of the lemon blueberry marshmallow “moonbeam” ice cream: INGREDIENTS ► 3-Ingredient Lemon Ice Cream ► 1 can full fat coconut cream ► zest & juice of 2 medium lemons ► 1/2 cup sweetener of choice (I used organic honey - I

Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream/Popsicles
POV: love my Creami and now it’s PSL season ➡️ 🎃🥧🍨 I couldn’t wait for cozy fall flavours but I’m not ready to pack away my Ninja Creami quite yet… So let’s make pumpkin pie ice cream!! This is basically our deconstructed paleo pumpkin pie in ice cream form. We start with our 2 ingredient coconut date ice cream*, add extra pumpkin pie ingredients, and then crunchy cookie mix-ins to complete the perfect pie vibe. WITHOUT A CREAMI: you do NOT need a ninja creami - you can fo

no oat APPLE CRISP grain-free low-carb vegan
Inspired by my low-carb no-oat oatmeal/porridge recipe that I am still obsessed with & eating on repeat ( https://youtu.be/_BohEHI10is?si=5kO6JYKyvIcUsYGW ), we’re making a crunchy protein-packed (over 12g of protein for 1/4 recipe) ZERO-net-carb crisp topping with a mix of nuts & seeds, and healthy fats. Go traditional with chopped apple tossed in warm spices, or make it EVEN lower carb by swapping some or all of the apple for berries. ►12g protein in the topping, per quarte

Colour Changing Lemonade 🩷💜💙 Recipe
It goes by many names: Magic Lemonade, Galaxy Lemonade or Mermaid Lemonade, and it involves adding blue matcha/butterfly pea flower tea to lemonade. The anthocyanin pigments in the blue matcha are blue in alkaline/basic environments, but turn purple, then pink in more acidic environments such as lemonade!! It appears as magic, but it’s chemistry! Short video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/HJwMQCqlOOw?feature=share For 2 Servings Magic Ice: ►1 tsp blue matcha (butterfly pea

Plum Crumble Bars | gf, df, vegan
We recently bought WAY too many yellow plums from a local farm market, and after eating our fill of them fresh/as is, it’s time to start turning them into yummy baked goods. I brainstormed several ideas, like a frangipane tart, or plum cake, before landing on this recipe. I didn’t feel like taking the time to develop my own recipe for this one, so I grabbed my trusty Bakerita cookbook by Rachel Conners. Her recipes always deliver, are gluten-free, refined-sugar free, dairy-fr

🍑🥧 Single Serving Almond Flour Peach Cobbler Recipe
It’s gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, and potentially low carb (depending on what sweetener you choose - I used allulose) We picked up a pile of amazing fresh peaches from a local farm market this week (shout out to @thefarmhousemarket) and have been slowly eating thru the basket (slowly as in 🍑🍑🍑 at a time, because they’re so good!🧡😋) but I’ve also been enjoying them as an afternoon/after-dinner treat, as a single serve cobbler, topped with melty va

Healthier Magic “Seven Layer” Cookie Bars
I recently dropped off some of our bakery’s gf/df/v goodies to The Panetteria, a local bakery that carries our stuff, and my daughter picked out a few of their things for our family to share - one of which was a Magic Bar, and boy did it tempt me - I LOVE magic bars (and really, ANYTHING coconut). So instead of “gluten-ing” myself and paying for one magical bite, I decided to dust off my recipe for a better-for-you version. This version is rich, gooey, and satisfying, just li

Crispy, crunchy, roasted lentils 😍🥗 #Saladtopper #glutenfreecroutons
I’m sure you’ve seen crunchy, roasted chickpeas before. But this is a fun twist. Plus, they’re extra crunchy and give you more protein & less carbs (net and total), and more fiber per serving than chickpeas (or croutons!) And bonus: they’re also faster to cook from scratch; giving you a healthy, gluten-free alternative to a crouton on your salads this summer (or frankly to any dish you’d like to add some texture, crunch and/or extra protein too) INGREDIENTS: ► 3/4-1 cup dried

🩵🍨 Day 30 of Healthy Summer Treats | Blue Matcha Ice Cream/Ninja Creami Recipe
Today we’re making ice cream bars with blue matcha aka butterfly pea flower. Did you know blue matcha is full of anthocyanins, antioxidants and zinc for immune & inflammation support, has a relaxing effect, lowers blood pressure, gives skin & hair a healthy glow, and may even boost metabolism (all while eating ice cream!?!? I’m in!!) 🩵🍨Here’s how we’re making ours:: ► 1 can full fat coconut milk ► 1/4-1/3 cup maple syrup (or sweetener of choice) ► 1 tsp vanilla ► 1 tsp blue

🍫🫐 Day 29 of Healthy Summer Treats | Blueberry Chocolate Bark
The viral combo of chocolate & blueberries, but easier than individually dipping each blueberry!! All you need is: 🫐 Fresh blueberries 🍫 Melted dark chocolate If you have a chocolate bar mold you can drizzle in some melted chocolate, then add your blueberries, and top with more chocolate, making sure each berry gets some chocolate so it holds together into bark. OR you can simply toss the berries with the chocolate, then spread in single layer on parchment. Pop in the fridg
