What says fall more than warm fried dough, tossed in pumpkin spiced sugar, dipped in a warm chocolate sauce? So let’s make some pumpkin-spiced churros!!

INGREDIENTS
Churros:
►1/2 cup almond flour
►1/4 cup tapioca flour
►Pinch of sea salt
►1/2 cup water
►2 tbsp coconut sugar/brown sweetener
►1 tbsp coconut oil
Pumpkin Spice Coating:
►1/4 cup coconut sugar/brown sweetener
►1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Chocolate dipping sauce:
►1/4c chocolate of choice (vegan, dark choc, rsf, sf, etc)
►6 tbsp milk of choice
INSTRUCTIONS
Spice Coating:
* Mix pumpkin pie spice & sugar in a bowl or ziplock (I really like it in a bag so you can shake the churros & get them really well coated)
Dip:
* Combine chocolate and milk in a microwave safe bowl & heat in 30sec bursts until melted & smooth.
Churros:
* Combine flours & salt and mix well, then set aside for later.
* Combine water, sugar & oil in a small-medium saucepan and heat until JUST simmer
* Turn off heat, add flour mixture and stir well
* Let dough sit 5 minutes to cool enough to handle
* Transfer to piping bag fitted with a star tip or ziplock bag with corner snipped off and pipe dough onto parchment lined baking sheet.
* Bake in a 400F oven for 10-15 minutes (until nicely golden brown), OR deep fry for 5-7minutes until golden
* After they are finished cooking, let cool a minute or two (just enough to not burn yourself handling them, or use tongs), and coat in pumpkin spice mixture - they need to be hot for the mixture to stick nicely. Alternatively you can brush them with melted coconut oil and toss them in the spice sugar to coat them.
* Enjoy warm dipped in your chocolate sauce!!
