Most of which we also share on our YouTube Channel, as well as our second instagram account, & TikTok. Shawarma Tofu Rice Bowl
Another delicious (and easy!) tofu recipe, as I try to incorporate more tofu into my life for 2026. Why? At the risk of TMI - tofu has been identified in some health studies as having a positive impact on peri-menopausal symptoms. This nourish bowl was inspired by this video https://youtu.be/MKg_ofp1NOs?si=5X1A-r_o8MXPLUHr by Healthy Foodie PH on YouTube, but I simplified it even more so you can use pre-cooked rice, (since I had a stash in my freezer). So the only real cooki

Shawarma-Spiced Shaved-Tofu Wrap
I have been playing with tofu recipes over here for Veganuary. It has been fun and quite delicious!! I have 100% LOVED the viral shaved/shredded tofu methods. But not so much the tempeh (please send me your fav way to prepare tempeh if you have one! I'm still open to trying new ways to prepare it). And am really looking forward to silken tofu dessert test recipes in the next days - fluffy vegan chocolate mousse?!? My husband was trying the viral doner kebab techinique using s

🤍💖 3-Ingredient Raspberry Truffles
These vibrant little truffles are fresh, fruity, and the perfect no-bake treat 💕 A fun break from classic chocolate truffles! The filling is made with freeze-dried raspberry powder, coconut milk, and vegan white chocolate, then dipped in melted white chocolate and finished with a pretty drizzle + a sprinkle of raspberry powder. Tip: white chocolate is thinner, so I usually do a second dip for that perfect coating ✨ This batch makes 8 one-tablespoon truffles, but feel free to

🥑🍫 Bakery-Style Chocolate Avocado Pudding 2.0
Do you remember our 2024 chocolate avocado mousse? It was delicious, but since then I’ve added another ingredient: coconut oil - for that smooth, bakery-style texture. No avocado flavour. Just chocolate. Rich, silky vegan chocolate pudding that actually tastes like dessert 🍫 Chocolate Avocado Pudding 2.0 ► 2 ripe avocados ► 1/2 cup almond milk ► 1/2 cup cocoa powder ► 1/3 cup maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice* ► 2 tsp vanilla ► pinch sea salt ► 2 tbsp melted coconu

Chocolate Speckled Protein Ice Cream (NO PUDDING MIX!) | DF Ninja Creami
Instead of adding whole chocolate chips to your ice cream recipe, try this hack!! If you melt your chocolate chips, and add them half-way through the mixing process, it will freeze into little flecks like you would get in a store bought mint chip ice cream. Perfectly spread throughout your dairy-free/vegan protein vanilla ice cream, with some snappy chocolate bits in each bite. Enjoy!! Ingredients ► 1 cup canned coconut milk ► 1/2 cup almond milk (or your choice plant based m

Chocolate Sweet Potato Frosting
This 2-ingredient vegan chocolate sweet potato frosting is rich, silky, and ultra-fudgy — and you’d never guess it’s made with real sweet potato. It blends into the creamiest, most decadent chocolate frosting that’s naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free, with no added oils or powdered sugar 🍫✨ Perfect for spreading, swirling, or eating straight off the spoon, this frosting is deeply chocolatey with a luscious, truffle-like texture. I’m using it to

No Knead, Fluffy Keto Flax Bread
I was obsessed with my 3-ingredient flax bread and making it on repeat, but with a few more ingredients, and only a couple extra steps (but without the kneading and messy hands!!), this has quickly become my new fav. It’s SOOOOO fluffy. INGREDIENTS ►230g ground golden flaxseed, ground ►18g psyllium husk powder ►16g baking powder ►1/2 tsp sea salt ►180g egg whites (from about 6 large eggs) ►2 tbsp apple cider vinegar ►1 cup (240mL) tap hot water Blender dry ingredients super w

Veganuary - Tasty Tofu
Anyone trying new plant-based meals for Veganuary? I tried Nisha’s (Rainbow Plant Life) tofu technique the other night for dinner and it was soooooo good!! I didn’t have all the ingredients to make her shawarma bowl (I have to remake it with all the components!!), so I served it with yellow pea protein pasta, some edamame, and Siete brand taco spice. You can find her video/recipe here: https://youtu.be/qEu2VHpTt58?si=ptL0JjnCvRtb8evs But here's a quick jist: She calls for sup

Seriously Delicious Cloud Pizza
Gluten-free pizza crust, almond flour crust, cauliflower crust, chicken crust… I’ve tried them all. A pizza crust made from egg whites? Sure, let’s try it! First you take 2 egg whites and whip them to stiff peaks - I used a hand mixer, and it just took a few minutes. Then you add 1 tsp of tapioca or arrowroot and some spices like onion, garlic, oregano, salt, or anything you like, and beat another 30 seconds. I spread this out on a parchment lined baking sheet, and baked at 3

2-Ingredient Chocolate Yogurt Mousse
This recipe kept popping up on my feed, and I was skeptical (I've fallen victim to so many bad 2 or 3-ingredient recipes...have you?) but I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's super neat how the texture changes as you stir it. Watch our video to see the magic happen: https://youtube.com/shorts/KkU3izTUKAs INGREDIENTS: -1 cup, chocolate chips/chunks of choice (I used df/v allulose sweetened 70% dark chocolate) -1/2 cup yogurt of choice, cold INSTRUCTIONS: -Melt th

Gluten-Free Pumpkin Spice Oreos | DIY Recipe
Now that Nabisco makes gluten-free Golden Oreos, we can make our own Very-Limited Edition GF Pumpkin Spice Oreos. They just add "artificial flavours" and "paprika oleoresin" (for colour), so why can't we? And if you don't have pumpkin spice, we have a recipe for you below. Steps: -gently open your oreos -using a knife scrape the icing into a bowl -add some pumpkin pie spice (and food colour if desired) -mix, then re-ice your oreos. I find the easiest way is to use the back of

Viral Olympic Double Chocolate Muffins | Worth the Hype?
Have you seen these viral Olympic muffins? Swimmer Henrik Christiansen, from Norway, has gone viral on TikTok for his love of the Olympic Village “Choccy Muffin” (essentially a double chocolate muffin stuffed with ganache) We had to make some & see if they’re worth all the hype. And you can too! But ONLY if you’re a HUGE chocolate lover - these have a LOT of chocolate. Muffin Batter: 3/4c milk/plant mylk 1/4c water 2tsp instant coffee/espresso powder 1/2c cocoa powder 3/4c se

Tru Fru Dupe | Blueberry-stuffed-raspberries
Forget buying the expensive trendy chocolate dipped fruit at the store. You can easily make your own at home and totally customize what fruits you use too! Here we used raspberries stuffed with blueberries (like a turducken but with fruit!), but you could easily do strawberries, or frozen pineapple or mango... How to: -Stuff large raspberries with wild blueberries (we used fresh raspberries and frozen wild blueberries) -Then pop in the freeze while you melt your white chocola

Miraculous 1-Ingredient CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
I keep seeing these 1 or 2 ingredient chocolate recipes, and sometimes they fail, and sometimes they look delicious - It makes me think, do they really work? And are they any good? So we’re finally giving it a try. Here’s how we’re doing it: Ingredients: 150g dark choc (you want good tasting, high cocao content, good quality choc since this is the only flavour component - I used 70% allulose-sweetened-dark chocolate) 1/2c boiling water (not cold, as some recipe say - we want

Twice Baked Chocolate Cake = Half Cake & Half Molten Lava
I’ve heard of double baked potatoes, and double baked cookies (aka biscotti) but have you heard of a double baked cake?!? I hadn’t until I saw these guys do it: Inspired by: @butterbutternz and Cupcake Jemma/Ravneet Gill https://youtu.be/zyMF41DzGPU?si=hWgwV-2X42MO_v8g And it just happens to be flour-less/gluten-free! I used theirs as a starting point but downsized it to make it a 1/4 batch size as well as made it dairy-free, & sugar-free/low carb. Ingredients for 1/4 batch &

🔥🍢 This s’more hack is genius!
We were at my brother’s cottage this past weekend, making campfire s’mores, so we HAD TO try out Nick DiGiovanni new s’more technique to melt your chocolate at the same time as toasting your marshmallow - spoiler alert, it’s a game changer!! And totoally genius!! (Just kinda sucked that my expensive gluten-free graham crackers all broke in the process or were broken to start, lol. 😭 But the “regular” ones saved the day! 🙌🏻🎉) It worked so well, you gotta try this next time

Chickpea Bark - Sweet Salty & Crunchy!
Sometimes unexpected combos work so beautifully together: If you have some extra chickpeas kicking around, give this a try! Adding crunchy roasted chickpeas creates an amazing sweet salty & crunchy combo. -Lightly spray/coat some drained chickpeas with oil, then roast (we did air fryer at 390F for 20 minutes and they were perfect!). -Then let cool, and add to melted chocolate with a good ol' pinch of flakey sea salt. -Chill until set, then break into pieces and enjoy!!
