🍫+🍊 2-Ingredient Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cups | #FallIntoShorts Day 19

Last year I went all out and DIY’ed my own molds to make a dairy-free version of Terry’s chocolate orange. But it was a labour of love. (You can see that step-by-step video here: https://youtu.be/IY6-RtF2eW0?si=1l4eZx0HaLORdzXC)

If you aren’t as crazy as I am, here’s a much easier chocolate orange dessert, that takes just 2 ingredients, less than 5 minutes of effort, and makes a fun orange cup.

They're rich & creamy chocolate meets bright, fresh orange — naturally gluten-free, easily dairy-free optional, and ready in an hour! Perfect for impressing guests, a quick indulgence, or a playful dessert in edible orange cups.

2-Ingredient Chocolate Orange Cream Recipe 🍫+🍊

Ingredients:

  • 2 large oranges (120mL orange juice), room temperature

  • 100g dairy-free chocolate of choice (we used “milk” chocolate chips here)

Instructions:

  • Carefully slice your oranges in half & scoop out flesh, keeping the peels in tact

  • Juice orange pulp & measure out 1/2 cup of juice (I pressed the pulp through a sieve)

  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30sec bursts until smooth

  • Stir in orange juice (make sure it’s room temp, not cold so the chocolate does not seize), & vigorously whisk to emulsify the OJ & chocolate (if you can’t get it smooth & creamy you can easily blitz it in a blender)

  • Pour into orange halves, standing in muffin tins to keep them level

  • Chill 60+ minutes to set

  • Enjoy!!
